This was a semester-long project where I wrote a 43-page long deep dive essay about certain principles to potentially keep in mind when writing strong female characters for video games.
While it did end up with a 95% grade by the end of the semester, I made sure to keep improving it as much as I could after it was finished.

While working on my Deep Dive, I:
- Learned about the kinds of messages and values one can derive from female characters, and how they can generally be portrayed more realistically while preventing potential sexism
- Did extensive research from various sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, video games, YouTube video essays, and magazine articles
- Presented my findings every week for feedback and constantly iterated on the paper based on the feedback I received
- Analyzed and researched characters such as Feena from Grandia, Fran from Fran Bow, Bayonetta from Bayonetta, and Nuna from Never Alone
